Hi, I'm Morgan. It's nice to meet you.
I'm a Product Designer in Sunnyvale, California specializing in creating intuitive, impactful digital experiences
that combine creativity and functionality while being accessible to users of all kinds.
With five years of experience in UI/UX design and four internships in the field, I've developed a comprehensive
understanding of the design process from ideation to implementation and beyond. For the past four years, I was
actively designing apps for clients and mentoring aspiring designers through App Team Carolina, a nonprofit
organization that teaches native iOS design and development. One of my proudest achievements with App Team Carolina
is helping found its UI/UX Bootcamp and Apprenticeship programs, where I taught custom curricula for beginner and
intermediate Figma skills weekly, helping students refine their craft and launch successful careers in design.
Earlier this year, I received my Master's in Human-Computer Interaction from the University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill. During this program, I conducted a thorough accessibility evaluation of the Apple Vision Pro for my
Master's Thesis, which explored how the design of the Vision Pro impacts users with disabilities and identified
opportunities for increased inclusivity. Digital accessibility is one of my biggest passions, and I believe a product
cannot truly be considered successful until it is able to provide a desirable experience to all communities.
When I’m away from my screen, I’m all about balance. I lift weights to stay grounded and healthy, hike to find new
perspectives, and explore coffee shops for the ambiance (and caffeine). You may also find me experimenting in the kitchen,
getting lost in a good book, or optimizing my farm layout in Stardew Valley (yes, I bring systems thinking everywhere).
